I hear you but my feelings about tonics and minis encompass all of them. Why would anyone pay money for that crap is beyond me. But that's just me - still having trouble comprehending why they implemented such retarded things in the first place.
While I see where EL Livia tonic might have it uses I find it easier to surf for pr0n without loading GW. IE is easier on both the CPU and the RAM anyway.

I just want a Margo tonic so I can tank DoA like a Margonite, just to screw with things a bit.. Besides that, I also don't know why people would want some of the tonics...

reindeer to me is a waste. i would like maybe margo or kuuna. but the deer. i mean seriously... i dont know what the design team was thinking about when they made that one everlasting. i would much rather have seen a mhenlo or something like that implemented.

How about Dunkoro?
Then I could finally make my "hundred ways to kill dunkoro" series.

I sold my EL Reindeer for 1500e + 125a. Which was far more than I expected to get for it, and I'm sure I could have driven the price up more if I wanted, but I hate spending time trying to sell when I could be playing instead. It was about the fourth or fifth offer I got and I was more than happy with that so I sold it.
It's a cute tonic, for sure, and there's no regular counterpart for it, which is probably part of why people like it. And the reason it's a reindeer is because it's the prize for the Wintersday art contests...what does Mhenlo have to do with Wintersday?
I've never been that big on tonics, though, so yeah. I don't really understand why people drop tons of money on them myself, but I'm not exactly going to complain. Mine and several of my friends' HoMs are nice and full now, thanks to that.

In game quantity is what drives the price as well as demand, but low quantity will always have high demand. Personally, high-end minis make no difference to me because ~70k will get you a unique which is all you need for HoM, rare is even cheaper. Tonics do nothing other than aescetics. I do like the margonite tonic in DoA idea and wanted a El Margonite tonic anyway because I thought they were cool enemies. Honestly, phantasmal and trapdoor are fine with me if I were to buy one.

It must be lulz to run around as a reindeer at Christmas with all the snowy scenery, but I personally wouldn't blow XXXa on one, i'd rather spend it on.. (wait for it)... Armor, titles, weapons, a few mini's etc.
But hey, if you can afford to blow XXXa on something, then you must be pretty comfortable anyway, and probably would probably have a nice amount left over..

Hehe i wouldnt buy one even if i had spare 2000a... i rather spend that on the rarest minis, weapons and maybe couple of EL Hench tonics.
EL Hench tonics are rarer than EL Reindeer tonics, and so many tonics look much better than the Reindeer. You can't even use the Reindeer tonics outside anyway.(iirc only 20 newer Reindeer can be used outdoor but 20 older Reindeers can not be used outdoor)

reindeer tonics are more expspensive that 120a, most are asking 1500e + 120a. But you have to bare in mind that they are prize for the wintersday art contest and a reindeer does embody the christmas spirit. Giving out a el dunkoro or whatever in my opinion would make no sense what so ever. Its the pure rarity factor that determines the price. As trends show the price lowers year after year as more and more are added to the number in the game.
Its similar to the conversation about rare mini's and people were saying why couldnt they make a ugly mini the rare one and the panda common as its so much cooler. But i would put money on the same conversation occuring again years later but the other way arround as people would be bored of panda's.

"How about Dunkoro?

there is an everlasting dunkuro... just so you know. i have one... if you want you can kill me a hundred different ways, lol...
"what does Mhenlo have to do with Wintersday?"
he has nothing to do with Wintersday... but would have been a whole lot cooler of an idea for a tonic. i wasn't referring him to Wintersday. not at all.. and not sure how you even thought i was... nothing in my post even hints towards that event. i am talking about tonics in general...
"But i would put money on the same conversation occurring again years later but the other way around as people would be bored of panda's. "
I'm sorry but i honestly don't think anyone will ever get "bored of panda's" like you say... i go into my HoM just to look at my mini panda on display. and my HoM is at 49 points. with one title left to finish it. i think the rest of worthless compared to that little guy

The Reindeer tonic is awesome because it's not humanoid like virtually all the other tonics. Mhenlo would have been another tonic which just blends into the crowd of people in Spamadan, the Reindeer stands out.

I highly doubt the demand for the Reindeer is all that high compared to items of equivalent value give or take. On a personal level I wouldn't want one. If I did it'd be because I wanted to flip it for profit which in my view is a lose lose situation at best.

I would agree that the demand is actually quite low on the Reindeer. However, the supply is SUPER low. I know of at least 4 that were perma-banned. The main reason for the low supply, however, is that it is kinda cool and most of the artists want to keep it simply because they care more about their prize than braces...and I applaud that mindset, though my opinion may be different if I had ANY desire to own one of the fugly beasties.
